Today was easter and we went to my wife's family easter union.
I was asked that since I don't believe in any religion then how come I am celebrating easter ?
Answer: Unlike religious extremists I believe that any reason that makes everybody happy and you see a couple of smiling faces is good enough to celebrate and that's why I celebrate easter.

I just remembered the time that I used to read almost all of Erich von Daniken's books about alien visitors to the planet earth in the past. Most of his books were banned in Iran at the time when I developed interest in this subject so I had to buy it from black market where it was much more expensive and the prints were in poor condition. Sometimes even a dozen of pages were totally unreadable.

Ok this is it. I am really pissed off how Iranians are STUPIFIED by the current regime. I just read on BBC new website that Khatami has said there is no need for a public referandum over the relationship with U.S.A. . Apparently they think (and actually they are probably right) people in Iran are goats ! or maybe I should say Goatified people.
So now we have even successfully made the moderate guy a oppurtunistic simple minded bastard. It is indeed really hard to connect the dots and blame it all on religion but I can clearly see how people have been blinded and stuffed with it.
Whan I think of it, I am not 50-60 years old but people at that time had their good non religious moments and we had hippies that were refusing the public stupid opinion and they had their way of life refusing to believe the old crap.
Now ofcourse every where in the planet we have religious morons. Oh let me see where should I start from gosh it's hard !!!
well DUH !!! We have TONS of muslim fanatics ALL over the middle east. We have tons of extremist Christians all over the world specially in west and guess what both side believe that theo ther should be cleaned from the face of planet !! Ok, up to now I am fine with opinions but WHERE the hell am i supposed to live in peace ?
Oh i am sorry I should not have said hell, guess what let the so called God be mad at me. Like I care. He is going to send me to hell anyway.

Here have a Beer !!
That's what i told myself when I got home. It was a HOT day. Surprisingly enough for a mid Spring (actually early Spring) it is so damn hot !! 83 degrees today !
Then ofcourse I remember that I have to do some homework and so I decided to do that first and now i just cracked open a bottle and it is indeed very good !
I like a lot of different beers, but my favorite brands are : Heineken, Foster's, Coors Original. I try to keep it economic and so I kind of swing between these brands depending on the financial situation (i.e. beginning of the month or ...)
From hard stuff I do enjoy Scotch Whiskey a lot and I always have abottle of Scotch (Different brand each time) in my personal home bar. Throughout the last 2 years I have managed to collect enough species that now I can make a lot of different cocktails !!!

I'm back after a looooong and boring weekend. Well first of all the DUDE I was talking about apparently has killed himself, which indeed doesn't bother me a bit !
I said I found him funny which didn't mean that I like the guy. I think in reality the humor was kind of dark humor which sometimes is called black comedy. It makes you laugh at something that is not funny by all means. You still laugh at it because you see millions of mid-eastern poeple believe and live in that bullshit he has in his store.
Still don't believe me ? Have alook in Arab propaganda TV's which is so called news. There was a very nice cartoon by Nick Anderson in the local paper that if I can find the link I will put it here.

I just got home and on the road I was thinking, now that I am writing my stuff on a weblog how do I know that people are actually reading this !! Or maybe I am writing to myself and so you can imagine the situation !! basically I am talking to myself in a modern way.
Now one thing that I remembered a couple of minutes ago is the story of meeting a Jehowah's witness dude and a chick I think I have to leave that for later I hate to make long paragraphs 'cause that's what I hate to read when I am reading something.

This whole thing about the Iraqi Information minister is so funny. Everytime he was on the TV he just made me almost wet my pants. For people who don't know where the humor is I can tell you that you have to be born in a country with an oppressive regime (i.e. Iran, ex-Iraq, Libya, Sudan, Cuba ...) to understand the whole humor. This is bread and butter for average poeple to live with a bunch of straight out of the bottle BULLSHIT.
Indeed there are people in mid-east who not only buy this crap but take it seriously and think this is the WHOLE truth !! I believe as long as we have this kind of people we will suffer from these kind of regimes.
Anyways I gotta go have a meeting to catch

- My family ? I guess they are doing OK [I realized that this dude thinks I am from Iraq]

you know the problem is in one letter from English Alphabet you have mistaken an N with a Q !!!
[Then I remembered why is it that any time I introduce myself I tell people I am from Persia though it gives them an idea that I was born on back of a Camel and my father is a carpet dealer but it's still better than being from Iraq for some odd reason]

Well well well
After a long time I think finally i have made my mind to write some stuff here.
I tried to write some weblogs in Persian by I had so much hassle in typing (I don't have a Persian keyboard) I just gave up.
I even made my own Persian keyboard but the problem was the scotch tape I used to add the Persian letters on the keyboard and they tend to NOT to stick on plastic and so every once in a while they would start ... never mind.
I don't know but for some odd reason today is the day that I decided to start my weblog and it is the OFFICIAL day of fall of Baghdad. I remember from my childhood that Sinbad was from baghdad and the Ali Baba. It's some faded memory I have it's greyish I dont remember the details.
I am hoping to write everyday and make it a habbit. Lets see what happens.
It is really funny to see the mullah's in Iran are scared shitless and all of the media including newspapers and ofcourse the TV channels are ordered not to mention anything about people celebrating in Baghdad and other cities.
I can see the day that people in Tehran will come to streets and celebrate ofcourse that will be something fun to see for me, I am counting the days.
This whole thing depends on how people in Iran wake up and get rid of religion and try to create a scular and non-religious government and blah blah blah ... forget about it.
